We are who we are and it’s undeniable. We are the sum of all our experiences, good and bad. We have all made mistakes too, as life is impossible to live without making them. The indelible mark of self is what stands staring back at us in the mirror. That familiar person gazing deeply and piercingly into your eyes, more incisive than thoughts or words could ever be and could scour the very depths of your soul, if you allowed it. Your personality, your deeply-held principles and your character, these truths are irrefutable and their realities undeniable. We are who we are. We are the object of expression, laying siege to our reason giving credible meaning to our existence. We are self and above all, we need self-belief.
Nothing torments the soul like the guilt of unfulfilled self and nothing energises like the power of self-belief. Truly nothing will compare to the productive power of your self-belief and when we truly believe, we humans can achieve unbelievable things! Nothing leaves a greater imprint on us, than lives touched beyond the frame of our existence.
To trust a person is to trust the force behind them and not just the physical representation. It is to trust the self, the object behind the form. It is to trust without the mark of doubt clouding our minds. It is to believe wholeheartedly. So to trust yourself, you must trust who you are, not ‘what’ you are, or what you may become. Trust not just the reality; trust the force behind the form. Trust the essence behind the creation and trust in yourself.
Trust the man in the mirror. He is the will, he is the fire, and he is the passion in you. He is you! He is the one that will accomplish that which you seek and he stays with you regardless of the outcome. This is the first secret of success, real self-belief. You will only accomplish as much as you truly believe you can accomplish and your only limitation will be your imagination. Accept reality but dispose of doubt as it is worthless. Doubt will sap the force of your will, and undermine your positive self-image, so deny its existence in your life.
If you don’t trust yourself, how can you expect others to trust you? How can you share in their joy and lend the compassionate hand in times of need, without self-trust and self-belief? How can you live and feel your life more warmly, more deeply? How can you experience the pure joy of living a productive, valuable life of impact and discover the power of togetherness? Lose all self-doubt. Doubt is like a fragmented reality, a fading illusion, so don’t get lost in the eternal search for meaning.

So if life held any meaning, purpose or any real value, then we must pursue it, not only till we find it but until we are actually living it and feeling the depths overwhelm us with joy, so we can find peace and the priceless clarity we crave.
