Professional Summary
Peter is a highly experienced strategy consultant and banker with proven record of success in delivering digital banking solutions, strategic FinTech partnerships, digital transformation, strategy development & execution, product development & management and research in both international and emerging markets.
He developed the business case for the adoption of a US$2 million open banking platform for one of the largest commercial banks in sub-Saharan Africa to foster innovation and reduce I.T. capital expenditure by an average of US$1 million annually. Also, developed several products that generated revenue over US$1 million annually.
In a recent role, he wrote and advised on the design and implementation of the first central bank digital currency (CBDC) in Africa for the Central Bank of Nigeria called eNaira. He developed a corporate strategy for a financial holding company in Nigeria. He also advised a venture capital firm on acquisitions within the payment landscape in one of the largest economies in sub-Saharan Africa; advised a financial technology company considering expansion across Africa and assessed the investment landscape in Nigeria for a foreign government entity.
Peter is an author and co-authored the book titled "A Dusky Dawn: First Rays of Hope''. He is passionate about peace and conflict resolution, technology and human psychology.
